Auray Technology Participated in O-RAN Alliance F2F 2025 in Fukuoka

Auray Technology participated in the O-RAN Alliance Face-to-Face Meeting in Fukuoka, Japan, from June 1 to June 7, 2025. The conference brought together over 360 in-person attendees and online members and partners from around the world to discuss the latest advancements and future trends in O-RAN technology. 

The O-RAN Alliance is a global coalition of mobile operators, vendors, research institutions, and academia. It is dedicated to enhancing interoperability between multi-vendor network equipment by promoting openness, virtualization, and intelligence. Auray Technology primarily participated in the agendas related to the Test & Integration Focus Group (TIFG) and the 9th O-RAN 6G Workshop hosted by the Next Generation Research Group (nGRG). 

Key Highlights from the Conference: 

TIFG Meeting: The Test & Integration Focus Group (TIFG) is mainly responsible for O-RAN test specifications, global PlugFests activities, and the O-RAN certification and badging program. The meeting primarily focused on improving O-RAN testing standardization and methodologies to establish a more consistent and reliable O-RAN testing ecosystem. 

9th O-RAN 6G Workshop: This workshop, themed "Intelligent RAN in the 6G Era," delved into the integration of AI and 6G networks. The discussions emphasized the importance of deep AI and RAN convergence, operator transformation strategies, spectrum management, sustainable edge AI computing, and the crucial role of the open-source ecosystem. 

The Fukuoka conference provided Auray Technology with valuable experience, deepening its understanding of O-RAN standards and technologies. During the meeting, Auray Technology engaged in discussions with industry leaders and professionals, laying the groundwork for future collaborations. Auray Technology will leverage these insights to continuously advance its O-RAN business and actively promote the openness and innovation of radio access networks.
